The Falkensteinsee is a lake near Ganderkesee (Lower Saxony). On warm days it is mainly used by the residents of the surrounding towns of Hude (approx.7 km. from the lake), Hatten (8 km) and Delmenhorst (about 10 km).

When the weather is nice, people from Delmenhorst, about 10 km away, also come to the lake to escape everyday life in the city.

Of course there are also visitors to the lake who use the Delmenhorst area to take advantage of the leisure activities there or to end the day in one of the restaurants.

The Alfsee in Delmenhorst, 70 km away, is a popular excursion destination with many leisure options and a wide range of activities.

The Falkensteinsee Camping & Holiday Park is located in a wooded area in Lower Saxony in northern Germany. The campsite surrounds Lake Falkenstein. Vegetation can be seen everywhere in the form of trees and a beautiful grassy area. The campsite is very spacious and quiet. Often you can only hear the chirping of birds. The campsite has spacious pitches, most of which are surrounded by hedges. All pitches are grouped around the lake, including the rental accommodation. You have the choice between mini-cottages, hiking cabins and large holiday homes. All are modern, colorful and comfortably furnished.

Activities (Water)

Due to the proximity to the lake, relaxation by and on the water is a given. You can fish, snorkel and dive. There is a weekend meeting for model boat builders twice a year. For children there is a large playground on a sandy area. Challenge your fellow campers to a game of mini golf.

There is a small camping shop with a good selection. The Bistro het Seehuus in the same building won't disappoint either. There you can enjoy delicious meals. Outside there is a cozy terrace with parasols, of course overlooking the water. Would you rather cook yourself? Then you can use the open kitchen with stove, sink and wooden furniture.

Environmentally friendly sanitary paradise

There is a new and very well maintained sanitary building. It is designed to be eco-friendly and meets the latest environmental standards. The facilities here are very similar to those of a hotel.

Camping Facts

In the original Finkota camping barrel at Falkensteinsee you will have an incomparable sleeping experience. The 2 x 2 meter bed offers you plenty of space to sleep, cuddle and dream. The accommodation is suitable for 4 people. Inside there is a seating area with an extendable table and a bench that can be converted into two additional beds. There are also sockets, lighting and infrared heating.

The elegant house

The elegant house overlooking the lake is perfect for a glamping holiday with the whole family. The raised sleeping platform inside makes optimal use of the living space, with children sleeping above and parents sleeping below. The accommodation has four beds on two levels, a kitchen with plenty of crockery and cooking utensils. In winter there is also an electric blanket in the beds. The toilets are located in the modern 'feel-good shower house' next to the stylish house.

Pods

The pods guarantee a nature holiday for 2, 3 or 4 people. The glamping accommodations have power sockets, electric heaters, lighting, storage space, tables and seating. On cold days there is an electric blanket in the beds. Additionally, the modern shower house is located next to the property.
