The magic of the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena: An adventure between heaven and earth

The Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena, a picturesque area in Austria, is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. From sparkling mountain lakes to breathtaking hiking trails and traditional alpine pastures, this region offers everything your heart desires.

A day trip full of surprises

Our journey begins in Lermoos, one of the oldest places in the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena. With the majestic Zugspitze in the background, we follow the Blindsee Trail, a path that attracts both hikers and bikers. The path leads through dense forests, past bubbling streams and always offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.

The beauty of Blindsee

The Blindsee, one of the most beautiful lakes in Austria, is a real highlight of the region. Its turquoise waters reflect the surrounding mountains and provide a picturesque backdrop for a short rest. Near the lake there are also the green Mittersee and the Weißsee, which together with the Blindsee form an impressive three-lake corner in Tyrol.

The fascinating Loisachquelle

Another highlight of our trip are the Loisach springs. This picturesque marshland, from which the Loisach River rises, is a place of peace and beauty. The clear water flows through Ehrwald, along the Zugspitze, and finally flows into the Isar near Wolfratshausen.

Solstice fire: An ancient custom

During our trip we are lucky enough to witness an impressive spectacle: the solstice fires. These traditional mountain fires, which have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2010, are an unforgettable experience. They illuminate the mountain slopes and tell stories from mythology and spirituality. It is a feast for the senses that you have to experience once in your life.

The impressive Höllentalklamm

However, our adventure does not end in the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena. We continue our journey towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen and explore the Höllentalklamm. This natural wonder, through which the Hammersbach winds, is a paradise for nature lovers. The gorge, surrounded by rock walls up to 150 meters high, offers a unique experience that should not be missed.

At the end of this unforgettable day we return to Lermoos, filled with the wonders of nature and the magic of the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena.
