The Klagenfurter Hütte: A place to linger

After we have covered an impressive distance, we reach the Klagenfurter Hütte. A place that impresses not only with its location, but also with its hospitality. Here you can relax after a long day of hiking, enjoy the regional cuisine and unwind.

The Hochstuhl: The highest mountain in the Karawanken

Our next destination is the Hochstuhl, the highest mountain in the Karawanken. The climb is challenging, but the view from the top is worth every effort. From here you have a breathtaking view of Triglav, the highest mountain in Slovenia, the picturesque Lake Bled and the extensive Steiner Alps.

The Bodental: A valley full of surprises

The next day our journey takes us to Bodental. A valley that impresses not only with its natural beauty, but also with its wildlife. Brown bears live here and are shy, but with a bit of luck you can observe them in their natural environment.

Another highlight of our trip is the Meerauge, a deep blue lake whose color is so intense that it almost seems unreal. A place that invites you to linger and dream.

At the end of our trip we visit the Tscheppaschlucht, one of the most spectacular gorges in the Alps. Here you can marvel at the roaring water that makes its way through the rocks and falls into impressive waterfalls.
