The Magic of Sardinia: A Paradise in the Mediterranean

Sardinia, the second largest island in the Mediterranean, is a true jewel of Europe. With some of the best coastal scenery, pristine beaches and the clearest water imaginable, Sardinia is a must for any travel lover.

The impressive Baunei coast

Let's start our journey in one of the most impressive places in Sardinia, the Baunei Coast. This 40-kilometer-long coastline consists of huge limestone cliffs and secluded beaches. A special highlight is the beach of Cala Goloritze, which is one of the most beautiful beaches in Italy with its striking rock arch and crystal clear water.

The hidden treasures of the Baunei Coast

In addition to Cala Goloritze, there are other impressive places along the Baunei coast. Cala Mariolu and Cala Luna are two other beaches known for their impressive sea caves and grottoes. Another highlight is Pedra Longa, a granite monolith surrounded by breathtaking mountains.

Porto Flavia: A unique harbor jewel

To the west of the island is Porto Flavia, a beautiful harbor with a unique mining tunnel that leads straight out of the cliff. This tunnel was once used to load minerals onto ships and is now an impressive example of early 20th century engineering.

The sand dunes of Piscinas and charming Bosa

Further north along the coast are the sand dunes of Piscinas, reminiscent of the Sahara. Not far away is the historic town of Bosa, which enchants with its colorful buildings and the Temmo River that flows through the town.

The North Coast: A paradise for beach lovers

The north coast of Sardinia offers other impressive places such as Spiaggia La Pelosa, a long white sandy beach with clear waters, and Cala Spinosa, another picturesque beach. A particular highlight is the Maddalena Archipelago, a group of islands with beautiful bays and crystal clear water.

Tavolara: A majestic island highlight

At the end of our trip we visit the island of Tavolara, an impressive island that is perfect for boating and snorkeling. With its breathtaking views and the opportunity to explore the island, Tavolara is a perfect end to our trip through Sardinia.

Sardinia is undoubtedly a paradise in the Mediterranean that impresses with its diversity of landscapes, beaches and cultures. It is a place that enchants every visitor and invites them to dream.
