Riding an e-bike in Mallorca

The most beautiful bicycle and e-bike destinations always inspire their guests with something new, so we want to share our Mallorca experiences with you today. The numerous tours and endless possibilities always invite you to take new journeys of discovery.

The ideal starting point for an e-bike holiday in Mallorca is the area around Alcudia. There are a variety of options here and bike tours suitable for everyone, for every taste and every fitness level. Such asb in the mountains of the Tramuntana Mountains, very close to the e-bike rental station or a route to the breathtaking “Cap de Formentor”, which in turn is also very close.

The “Tuscany of Mallorca”, the hilly landscape of the east coast, is a must-see for every cyclist. Around the authentic town of Sineu, the varied landscape lies at your feet. One valley is much more beautiful and picturesque than the other. On every next hill there is a new view of the fertile landscape, after every curve a new landscape stretches out in front of the cyclist.

The center of the island, which is largely used for agriculture, offers, with its flat plain, an excellent area for relaxed routes on the e-bike without any significant climbs. In the Inca area you can discover the wine-growing region that has been cultivated since the Middle Ages. The wine capital of Binissalem can be easily reached within a day by e-bike.

In the south of Mallorca there is also a very flat route profile. Hundreds of km beckon here. on beautiful roads, surrounded by natural stone walls from Mallorca between the landscape of the former large estates. The small town of Santanyi is always worth a trip and offers excellent gastronomic offerings with the typical Mallorcan flair.

If you like it particularly challenging, you should explore the west of the island with your e-bike. The coastal road lies between the open sea and the Tramuntana mountains and stretches along the coast from the north to the west of Mallorca. The excellent views are a reward for any adventurer who takes on these challenges. In addition, the spectacular road layout ensures varied panoramas.

You will then see a small collection of e-bike tours:

17km. along the sea

You can even cycle over 17km from Palma. drive directly along the sea. Namely along the marina and harbor on the Paseo Maritimo with designated cycle paths, partly on two narrow cycle lanes with oncoming traffic. Also past the city's landmark, the “Cathedral of Light” with the beautiful colored leaded glass windows.

Via El Molinar, the suburbs of Portixol, Ciutat Jardí, over the dunes and rocks in the “Es Carnatge” protected area and then under the airport approach path, you continue parallel to the beach to Can Pastilla.

Then continue along the quiet street of the Playa, with the 15 “Balnearios”, the beach bars, with hotels, cafes, street musicians and the mega park and Upper Bavaria.

Pleasant e-bike tour with a beautiful view

The route leads along quiet streets, cycle paths and some side streets. The route is approx.40m. at the southern end. On the way back you can easily take the same route, which couldn't be a disadvantage because of the great route along the coast with a view of Palma.

The particularly beautiful moment is the crossing from the fairly wide beach and partly rough nature reserve at Ciutat Jardí into the more urban environment, when the route suddenly opens up to the view of Palma's cathedral “El Seu”.

The two highlights of the day are the trips, early in the morning from Can Pastilla to the office in Palma and out in the evening on the same route. These beauties have been attracting tens of thousands of bike tourists to this island for many years. From amateur cyclists to professional teams such as the Irish national team, Sky and Alpecin come here.

Discover Palma

Let us take you on an environmentally friendly journey through the fascinating history of Mallorca's interesting past and get to know this beautiful Mediterranean island on a very educational and dynamic bike tour in Palma de Mallorca. Ancient remains, historic buildings, monuments, stories and myths will be told to you during a 3.5-hour guided bike tour where you will cycle along cycle paths, quiet old town streets, parks and squares. Strongly influenced by its medieval past, Mallorca's old town offers a nice contrast to the more modern Palma, where residents, history, trade and tourism have found a way to live and develop side by side.

Our tour begins at one of our 2 starting points (or any location if this is a privately booked tour), where you will be introduced to your guide, sign a waiver and agree to our bike touring policies. Shortly afterwards you will receive a comfortable, high-quality city bike, a helmet (compulsory up to 16 years old) and a basket if you wish. You can buy water in our shop. Our tour guide will give you a briefing on the general facts and expectations of the tour, the schedule, procedures and local rules for cycling in Palma de Mallorca, as well as a demonstration of how the bikes work. We will help you adjust the bike seat to your height so that you can experience your tour as comfortably as possible. Then you can get started! Along our route we will make short stops at many places and tell you interesting facts about the things you are seeing. After a few stops at Parc de la Mar, we will make our way to the old town of Palma de Mallorca, where open and sunny esplanades are exchanged for beautiful old, narrow streets and alleys.

In the old town there are many old churches and squares, some of which you will see and get to know. Our tour also includes a short stop at a (still functioning) 13th century nunnery. Century, in which you can buy a little something for those with a sweet tooth. From here we continue our discovery tour through the old, mainly medieval part of Palma, passing the city's most popular attractions and also discovering the wide range of museums, art galleries and other attractions for curious visitors.
