Starting point: Lunz am See
The journey begins in Lunz am See, a picturesque town that offers the perfect starting point for this adventure. After just 45 minutes you reach Mittersee, an idyllic reservoir surrounded by trees. A place where you can feel the peace of nature.
A highlight: The Ludwig waterfall
A special highlight of the tour is the Ludwig waterfall. With an impressive height of 60 meters, it offers a spectacular natural spectacle. The water falls from above into a pool and offers a place of refreshment and energy.
Obersee: A jewel of nature
We continue to Obersee, a true natural jewel. Surrounded by mountains and trees, the lake offers a picturesque backdrop. Particularly striking are the floating peat moss mats that cover the lake.
Off to the summit of Dürrenstein
The climb to Dürrenstein is challenging, but the view from the top is worth it. The path leads through dense forests and past lush alpine meadows. After a hike of almost five hours, you finally reach the summit at 1,878 meters. There you will be rewarded with a breathtaking 360 degree panoramic view.
