Only 8 km in the southwest of Innsbruck is the Natterer See international campsite on a sunny terrace. The small holiday complex at the campsite, in the middle of untouched nature, offers guests comfortable rooms and holiday apartments and a variety of activities for an eventful and relaxing holiday.

The beautiful lake with its huge water slide, many leisure and sports facilities as well as an extensive entertainment and animation program make the hearts of children and adults beat faster. In winter, the nearby slopes are frequented by skiers and snowboarders. The cross-country ski trail leads directly past the campsite. Ice skaters, ice hockey players and curlers have fun on the frozen Natterer Lake. Dogs are not allowed in July and August;

The charming village of Natters in the low mountain range south of Innsbruck has its own lake of the same name, the Natterer See, which is very popular in summer thanks to its beautiful surroundings and proximity to the state capital.

Mountains, meadows, forests - the area around Lake Natterer, a moor lake with very clean water that reaches up to 25°C in summer, offers everything you would expect in Tyrol. Accommodation is available at an award-winning campsite right on the lake with modern facilities and lots of activities for families.

Swimming is of course the number one water sport at Lake Natterer. Other attractions include water polo, water volleyball, canoeing and windsurfing as well as the famous Happy Swing, a huge 66m long slide into the water. The sporting theme continues on land with trampolines, table tennis, beach volleyball, tennis, badminton, streetball, boccia and a shooting range for crossbows, bows and arrows and air rifles.

Hungry after so much action? Then stop by the snack shop or the lakeside restaurant with bar, pizzeria and delivery service, which serves regional delicacies and international dishes in a cozy atmosphere or outdoors on the large terrace or in one of the romantic lakeside pavilions.

In the winter season there is a ski bus from the campsite to the local ski areas and a cross-country ski trail is accessible directly from the site.

Our 'Know Before You Go' travel tips

It has never made more sense to drive to the continent. Lake Natterer is located in the west of Austria and there are numerous sights to visit on the way there.

Are you from the north of England? Make the trip a real part of your vacation and take the tour! From Calais you drive to Belgium and Luxembourg and then take the super-fast German motorways to arrive in Natterer See after 1071 km. On the way back you can vary the landscape and return via Strasbourg and eastern France (approx. 1064km).
